Terms of Service

Zodias (“Zodias”, “we”, “us”) is a web studio at zodias.app. You upload a screen recording or screenshots of an app or website you promote, and Zodias writes a script, renders a vertical video with captions, music, an optional AI voice and sound effects, and writes post captions for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. You can ask for changes, and each change renders a new version.

Zodias never posts anything for you. You download the videos and decide whether, where and when to publish them.

The service is in an early, private stage. Features may change, be paused or be removed, and access may be limited to invited accounts. It is provided free of charge for now. If paid plans are introduced, the prices and billing terms will be shown before you are asked to pay, and nothing will be charged without your agreement.

You sign in with a Google or GitHub account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to agree to these terms. If you use Zodias for a company, you confirm you may accept these terms for it.

Keep your Google or GitHub account secure: anyone who can sign in to it can use your Zodias account. Tell us at support@zodias.app if you think someone else has used it.

“Your content” means what you put into Zodias: recordings, screenshots, logos, music, style references, app details and chat messages. You keep all rights to it.

You give us a limited permission to store, copy, analyse and transform your content only to run the service for you: to plan and render your videos, show them to you, and keep your project working. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep briefly while deletion completes. We do not use your content to advertise Zodias or show it to other users without your written permission.

You confirm that you have the rights needed for everything you upload, in particular:

• the app or website shown in your recordings is yours, or you are allowed to promote it;
• you have a licence for any music you upload, for use in videos posted to social platforms;
• recordings don't show other people's personal data without their permission. Zodias tries to blur names, emails and other terms you list, but you are responsible for checking every frame before you post;
• style references are used only for their style. Zodias analyses how a reference looks and moves (transitions, pacing, layout, type) and does not put the reference's footage, words or logos into your video. You must not use Zodias to copy someone else's video, brand or trademarks.

The videos, scripts and captions Zodias makes for you (“output”) are yours to use, including commercially, as far as we have rights in them. The output is built from your content plus our templates, fonts, built-in music and sound effects; you may use those parts as part of the output, but not on their own or to build a competing product.

Output is made with AI and can contain mistakes: wrong claims, misheard names, misplaced or cut-off elements. Watch every video and read every caption before you post it. You are responsible for what you publish.

Zodias is built for honest promotion of your own products. You agree not to use it to:

• make fake testimonials or reviews, or present the AI voice as a real customer or person who doesn't exist;
• make claims about a product that aren't true, including invented ratings, user counts, prices or results;
• impersonate a real person, company or brand, or imply an endorsement you don't have;
• promote anything illegal, or make content that is hateful, harassing, sexual, violent or misleading;
• upload malware, try to break into the service, overload it, scrape it, or get around access limits;
• resell or give others access to the service without our permission.

Social platforms require you to label AI-generated content. Every caption Zodias writes ends with a reminder to turn on the AI-generated content label on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. Follow it, and follow each platform's own rules for advertising and disclosures.

Zodias uses third-party services to work, such as OpenAI for writing, image analysis and the AI voice, and Amazon Web Services for hosting and rendering. Their availability affects ours. The Privacy Policy lists what each one receives.

You can stop using Zodias at any time. You can delete a project, with its uploads and videos, from the studio. To delete your whole account, email support@zodias.app from the address you sign in with.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the service or other people at risk, or that we are required to close by law. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first and give you time to download your videos. We may also end the service as a whole; if we do, we will give at least 30 days' notice by email so you can download your work.

Zodias is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it running and your files safe, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that output will meet a particular standard or result in installs or sales. Keep your own copies of anything important. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.

To the extent the law allows, Zodias is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data or reputational harm arising from your use of the service or of its output, including content you choose to publish.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$50. These limits don't apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or wilful misconduct.

You agree to cover Zodias for claims by others that arise from content you uploaded or published, or from your breaking these terms.

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. For changes that matter, we will tell you by email or in the studio before they take effect. If you keep using Zodias after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, stop using it and ask us to delete your account.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Before going to court, please email us so we can try to settle the issue. Any dispute that isn't settled goes to the courts of the Philippines, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it there.
